Steorn Ltd. a small, privately held technology development company based in Dublin, Ireland shocked the world in 2006 with what many would say is a very outlandish claim.
The company attracted mainstream media attention in August 2006 by placing a full-page advertisement in The Economist claiming it had developed a technology that produces “free, clean, and constant energy” and challenging the scientific community to test it. In December 2006 the company announced it had chosen a jury of scientists to make such tests.
Steorn says its technology, named Orbo, violates the law of conservation of energy,[4] a fundamental principle of physics.[5] To date, no evidence confirming that the technology works has been made available to the public.
However, Dann McCreary is an engineer who was approved to become apart of their development team and blogs on his experiences, giving us some insight into the further saga that is STEORN.
